Challenge Coin: Luther’s Seal / VDMA

Description

These coins are made of a copper alloy and feature a full-color version of Luther’s seal on the obverse and both VDMA (Verbum Domini Manet in Aeternum — the Word of the Lord endures forever) and the old slogan of Der Lutheraner (Gottes Wort und Luthers Lehr’ vergehet nun und nimmermehr — God’s Word and Luther’s teaching will never pass away) on the reverse. Both sides have a protective coating to preserve both the hand-painted seal and the copper itself.

This is the 2024 version of the Luther’s seal (obverse) and VDMA (reverse) challenge coin.

The only difference between this version and the original is the numbering scheme has been slightly updated (the coins run from 1-001 through 1-500).

Once these coins are sold out, a new batch will be ordered (numbered 2-#### through 2-####).
